It is considered as one of the safest plastics in the world. It is scentless, tasteless and neutral physiologically. Thanks to its properties, it is water resistant, resistant to solutions of salt, acids, alkalines, alcohols and petrol, and its is susceptible to strongly oxodising factors. It is widely used e.g. in the production of devices for the chemical industry and for the car industry, containers for burning oil, rubbish containers, pressure pipes, connectors, fittings for potable water and sewage, tiles, etc.
It is also used for toys, containers, pipes, household devices, barrels, bottles for edible products, cleaning substances and cosmetics.
